The Evans G1 Coated Drumhead 14” is a single-ply, 10mil head that blends bright tone, musical sustain sensitivity with durability for a true working drummers head. With Evans’ Level 360 technology, the head sits evenly around the bearing edge to produce an easily tuneable head that has an extended pitch range and creates optimum contact with the shell – the very thing a good head should offer.

The coating adds additional warmth to the tone and adds a warmer, fuller tone from the drum compared to a clear head. An open and expressive head for a range of tunings, it is ideal for Jazz, Gospel and Rock.
