Use the incorporated clamp to attach the assembly to the the downstem of an existing stand or rack.

Getting those hats right where you need them is a breeze – just adjust the angle and length of the boom arm, and use the X-Hat’s gearless tilter to get the cymbal contact just right. Lock the cymbal angle firmly in place by tightening the X-Hat tilter’s drum key screw. Place your top hihat in the included clutch, and find the perfect hihat separation by twisting the wing screw until you’ve got the perfect tension. A smart solution for a tidy auxiliary hihat setup.
