Ludwig Vintage 1965 Blue Oyster Drum Set

This 1965 Ludwig drum kit is in excellent condition for its age.  The wrap is fully intact and the rims and tension rods are good condition.  There are no dents and the rims are in excellent condition.

The drum sizes are:

Tom: 13″ x 9″
Floor tom: 16″ x 16″
Bass drum 22″ x 14″

There are some minor mods to the original kit:  only the bass drum batter side head is original, the others have been replaced with usage.  Two of the screws on the tom mounts have been replaced, as have the bass drum legs.  Six of the bass drum tension rods have been replaced with ones of a similar style, as can be seen from the photos.    The cymbal stand attachment is not included with the kit.

Soft cases are available for the drums.

As well as an excellent historical piece, the drum kit is very playable and is easy to transport.
