The Meinl Woodcraft Cajon is an extremely sensitive cajon with internally fixed strings. This add a crisp snare effect which make it easy to produce deep back beats and articulate finger rolls. The strings fitted into the Meinl Woodcraft Professional Cajons are custom micro-coiled steel strings which create a striking snare sound.

    Description

    Built from Baltic birch wood and outfitted with specially wound metal strings that span the inside of the playing surface, Meinl Woodcraft Professional Cajons deliver well-defined snare and bass sounds. The 12mm thick body, constructed of birch, allows players to create a warm tone with plenty of attack. The sound port on the Meinl Woodcraft Professional Cajons are on the back, making them easy to mic up without risking hitting or disrupting the microphone.

    The elegant Makah-burl front plate adds striking aesthetics as well as the rounded corners on the playing surface, which also add comfort and maximise your touch. The Meinl Woodcraft Professional Cajons are fitted with rubber feet, keeping the Cajon steady whilst playing.
