Each drum in the Export kit uses 6-ply, 7.5mm poplar shells – a tried-and-tested wood choice for delivering warm tones with strong attack. Whether you’re gigging, recording, or practising, this shell makeup gives you the projection and clarity needed to handle a wide range of styles. Combined with the 45-degree bearing edge, these shells give a crisp, responsive sound that’s easy to tune.

Stability and tone with Opti-Loc suspension

The Opti-Loc suspension system supports your mounted toms using two tension rods and a rubber-isolated post. This design helps reduce shell contact, letting your drums resonate more freely while still keeping them locked in place during playing. It’s a balance of tone and practicality, perfect for players who want their toms to sing without wobbling.

Everything you need to get started

The included HWP-834 hardware pack features double-braced stands and a reliable chain-drive pedal. With snare, cymbal, hi-hat and boom stands covered, your kit is fully supported out of the box. The pedal (P930) uses Pearl’s Demon-style design for a responsive feel underfoot, making it easier to develop foot technique from the start.

Complete cymbal set included

The Sabian PX cymbal pack gives you 14” hi-hats, a 16” crash and a 20” ride – everything a beginner or intermediate drummer needs to play full grooves straight away. While built with beginners in mind, they still offer balanced tone and dynamic response to suit a variety of music genres. They’re a practical step up from entry-level brass cymbals.
