The Pearl Export 22” USA Fusion Drum Kit is ideal for beginner to intermediate drummers who want a reliable, great-sounding setup straight out of the box. This five-piece kit features 6-ply poplar shells that deliver a warm, full-bodied tone across all drums. The Opti-Loc suspension system keeps your toms ringing clearly, while 45-degree bearing edges help with easy tuning and consistent attack.
It also includes Pearl’s HWP-834 hardware pack, featuring a pedal, stands and throne-ready hardware, plus the Sabian PX cymbal pack with hi-hats, crash and ride. The Metallic Amethyst Twist finish adds a bold, modern look to any stage or practice room.

Ready-to-play with drums, hardware and cymbals
This kit includes everything you need to start drumming. Alongside the five poplar-shell drums, you get Pearl’s full HWP-834 hardware pack—featuring two cymbal boom stands, a hi-hat stand, snare stand, and a P930 kick pedal. The addition of the Sabian PX cymbal pack means you’re covered with 14” hi-hats, a 16” crash and a 20” ride—ideal for most playing styles right out of the box.
Full-bodied tone from 6-ply poplar shells
Each drum in the Export series is built with 6-ply, 7.5mm poplar shells. This construction provides a naturally warm, punchy tone with plenty of low-end. It’s great for rock, pop, and fusion styles, helping your playing cut through in rehearsals and live sets alike. The poplar also makes the kit lighter to transport without sacrificing durability.
Consistent tuning and easy setup
The 45-degree bearing edges on each drum create a tight contact between the drum head and shell. This helps you tune your drums quickly and keeps them in tune for longer. It’s especially handy for players who need to move or re-tune regularly. Combined with triple-flanged hoops, you get a responsive, open sound with great stick feel.
Focused sustain from Opti-Loc suspension
Pearl’s Opti-Loc mounting system supports your rack toms while letting them resonate clearly. It attaches at two tension points and the air vent, which reduces shell stress and keeps everything stable. Your toms will stay in place, even during energetic playing, without losing sustain or tone.
